ஆர்.கே. நகர் இடைத்தேர்தலில் அதிமுக அம்மா கட்சி வேட்பாளர் தினகரனின் வேட்புமனுவை ஏற்க கூடாது என தேர்தல் அலுவலர் பிரவீன் நாயரிடம் திமுக சார்பில் மனு அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. மனுவை ஏற்ற தேர்தல் அலுவலர் தினகரனின் வேட்புமனு பரிசீலனையை தற்காலிகமாக நிறுத்தி வைத்துள்ளார். தினகரனின் வேட்புமனுவை ஏற்பது குறித்து பின்னர் பரிசீலிக்கப்படும் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Deepa Jayakumar owns assets valued at Rs 3 crore

TTV Dhinakaran owns assets valued at Rs 68 lakh

AIADMK deputy secretary TTV Dhinakaran has reportedly submitted the details of assets owned by him to the Election Commission. According to reports, Dhinakaran mentioned that he owned movable assets of Rs 11.45 lakh and immovable assets of Rs 57 lakh. Notably, the RK Nagar candidate also mentioned that his wife had movable assets valued Rs 2.40 crore and immovable assets valued Rs 7.18 crore.

Two dogs save a girl's life in Chennai

Two dogs have reportedly saved a girl's life on Wednesday. Sushi Smitha from West Bengal who resides in a girls hostel in T.Nagar was allegedly stabbed by her colleague Ragunath. Two dogs near her hostel saved Smitha’s life by biting the man. Notably, Ragunath was arrested by the police for trying to murder Smitha.

New bridge to be built at Elephant Gate

Metro tunnelling begins in north Chennai

State gives explanation over Jaya’s portraits in govt offices

The Tamil Nadu government, on Monday, explained to the Madras High Court that Jayalalithaa’s portraits should not be removed from the government offices in the state as the late Chief Minister was abated from the disproportionate assets case because of her death. Notably, public interest writ petitions were earlier filed in the court seeking order to remove Jayalalithaa’s portraits.
