Head constable, Bhupendra Tomar (57) of UP decided to put his duty over his family on February 23. The cop had received a duty call about a man severely injured and immediately got a call from his home with information that his 27-year-old daughter had died suddenly. Tomar did not hesitate and chose to rescue the injured man. Reportedly, Tomar explained that it is more important to save the alive ones than worry about the dead, however painful it may be. He was congratulated by the deputy inspector general (DIG)  and senior superintendent of police of Saharanpur, UP for his dedication.
