Thiruvarur: Govt doctor embezzles over Rs 1 cr

A government doctor at a primary health centre in Thiruveezhimizhalai in Tiruvarur district has allegedly misappropriated government funds of Rs 1,24,77,241. Tiruvarur police have reportedly filed an FIR and started an enquiry with the doctor V Senthilkumar and his assistant R Senthilkumar. The embezzlement of government funds, allocated for pregnant women, came to light during the auditing.
